The very best feeling

This weekend flew by, and when I say flew I'm talking like one of those classified planes the government has kinda fly. I feel like my life is going way to fast- I live for Fridays at 5pm and then the weekend goes so quickly that by the time I blink it is Monday morning once again. Friday night started off good, we went on a date night adventure, met the owner at the Gold Pub and booked the FI 2 shows, then went with some friends to see a guy we know do stand up comedy at a local joint. He is so funny, I love comics and Corbin is top notch. We were supposed to go see Pauly but the FI had to work at 4am on Saturday so we saved that for sometime this week. Saturday was great, took the fur baby Olive to Hubfest, then that night went to Mexican (which I hate, so I just drank) with a bunch of friends. Sunday consisted of gym, relaxing, & cooking more pesto lasagna. Love that stuff!

All in all, it was a fantastic weekend topped off with one of the best compliments I've ever gotten. At the gym there is this bodybuilder guy who I always see there for the past year, we usually go at the same time and he has always been a really nice guy. On Sunday we both arrived at the gym at the same time and he struck up a conversation with me and gave me the best compliment- "You're really starting to lean up" Thank you always seems like a weird response but its what he got and since then I've been thinking about that compliment and decided it is one of the most flattering you can get. I work out a lot and I feel like I'm finally seeing the results with my body (-42lbs later) It has been amazing, I feel stronger, leaner, & healthier. It was also a day after I finally reached one of my goals - running a 13min mile.

It was simply a Great weekend, and I wish it didn't have to end.

5 foods im in Love with today

Ohhh nommm nomm nommms POPchips are AMAZING! The FI first discoverd them in Seattle and fell in love. Then I saw them at Target back home and my life changed for good! Sea salt & vinegar is my favorite with BBQ coming in a close second. The best thing.. the bag is small and there are only 3 servings in the whole thing so there is hardly any guilt if you cave and eat the whole thing at 4grams of Fat and only 120 calories per serving. I've also fallen in love with eating things that have the fewest amount of ingrediants listed;. POPChips have very few & are vegan. If you haven't ever tried them please...RUN to target or corner market and get you some right now.

Bethenny Frankels Natrual Recipe for Pesto Lasagna:

I made this Sunday night for me and one of my girlfriends Michelle. It turned out AMAZING. It is so flavorful and filling. I simply love all of Bethenny's food recipes and her outlook on food and being naturally thin. Check out her website, buy her books, you won't regret it.

Gala Apples from Kroger. You have to put them in the fridge and let them get cold, then take them out wash them slice them and enjoy. I like to add a little peanut butter to them and its like a party in my mouth. A healthy party that won't keep me from my Brooklyn Decker goal.

My Steamed broccoli and hibachi style chicken. I'll be making this tomorrow night for the FI and two of his sisters Apryle & Hollye. I'm so excited to be cooking for my sweet soon to be beauty queens of sister-in-laws for the first time. I'll be steaming some brown rice too to round out the meal and I have to think of a desert. I think I'll be making some oatmeal & peanut butter cookies out of Bethenny F's Skinny Girl Dish book. I'm telling you people that woman is a genius.

Lucky Charms!!! Ahh, I love me lucky charms they are so delishously good. I'm out of milk or I would go eat a bowl full right now. Lucky Charms are my #2 Favorite cereal.
Terri's Favorie Cereal list:
  1. Raisin Bran (Yes, Really!)
  2. Lucky Charms
  3. Honey Nut Cherrios
  4. Fruit Loops
  5. OH's!

Just go with it

Seriously, I have new inspiration
She is gorgeous. I want her body.
This is my new goal.. sure its a hefty one but hey... dream big.
I'll keep my dark hair though.
Oh, and I want that bathing suit.

After seeing Just go with it yesterday with the FI we both decided that Brooklyn Decker and Jennifer Aniston are amazing. Their bodies are to die for and I've got to have one of them one day. I'll work towards Brooklyn's because I have boobs and Jennifer doesn't. So, her hott body I will just have to admire.

This weekend was really good. Saturday was full of shopping, getting a massage, having a great work out, movies, and yummy food with the FI. I love when we get to spend time together... we just have so much FUN.

Here is some more hott pictures of Jennifer & Brooklyn... my oh my

She's 42. INSANE!

Brooklyn is unreal!

I swear I'm not a lesbian.
Women are just beautiful and I'm obsessed with beautiful things.

Cupcakes & Save the Dates

First off, HAPPY LATE ST. PARTRICK'S DAY!

I love this holiday, mostly for the glitter, green beer or in my case wine I got last night (weird), pinches, green colored everything, shamrocks, pots of gold, and a general good time of getting down. I'm sad I'm going to miss out on the parade in Jackson again this year. No, matter when it ends up being I always get stuck with other obligations. I really thought I was going to be able to go this year so I bought the above pictured glitter hats for me and my best friend. Since, I won't be sporting it tomorrow I took a picture tonight in celebration. Chad thinks I'm nuts, I think im stylin.

To celebrate anyways I got inspired and wanted to make some St. Patrick's day glittery cupcakes I recently saw on THIS FOODIE BLOG. Check it out for the recipe & hers are Much cuter than mine.

On to the next adventure of the night, the FI and I have completed the save the dates! They are addressed, stuffed, sealed, & stamped! We will finally be mailing them out tomorrow. Wedding mailing is by far the most intense thing we have done so far. It's getting closer every day and things are starting to fall into place and get checked off our list. I can't wait for June 4th.

Saturday Sweetness

I always love it when Saturdays are perfect.
It is beautiful outside in Southern Mississippi today and the FI & I are both off work together! This doesn't happen to often, usually the FI has to work every Saturday. Anyways, we started our wonderful day off together by waking up at 8:30 eeeekkkk and set off to go to the rental store to rent some things for our wedding. We successfully rented all of our flower stands and candelabras! Yay! That is one more thing I can check off this ever growing list of things I have to get done. (Let me just state this right now, I now completely understand what people were talking about when they were like just run off and get married! It is truly a stressful task..but we are trying to enjoy it as much as we can) Then we went to the post office to buy 200 stamps for our Save the Dates *coming soon* and I must say I love my postal workers here in Laurel, I see them every Friday morning when I go to pick up our work checks and I'm basically the only one in there that doesn't drive them nuts. I go in and we usually do a celebration dance that its Friday and go on my merry way. They totally Rock for holding back the pretty stamps I wanted for me. Thanks goes out to my kind Postal Workers! After the post office we then went to belk to return some duplicate gifts we received at the first shower, then we headed to the gym. I had a really great day at the gym and successfully ran for 10 minuets straight so now I am only 3 minuets away from running an entire mile! This is a huge accomplishment for me and I am very excited. It feels so good to be getting in better shape.

After the gym we came home to shower and get ready for one of my very dear friends wedding! She is also one of my bridesmaids and I was so excited to be apart of her wedding on this beautiful Saturday! She asked the FI and I if we would do the honors of cutting the wedding cake during the reception; so, after panicking the last couple of days about how to correctly cut a cake and YouTube-ing instructional videos I was finally up to the task. I had my game face on and these wedding pieces were going to be the best cut ever. All went perfect until the FI got jealous and wanted to start cutting... lets just put it this way the cake was destroyed once he took the cutting knife and I quickly had to hide the destruction. It was a very good thing I had already cut the majority of the pieces and there was still plenty left. Oh, Chad how I love you but please no one ever ask him to cut a cake again!

Now we are off to dinner with some friends & then going to a local coffee shop to listen to a friends band play tonight. I simply love Sweet Saturdays.

No Self Control

I can't help it. I have no self control. I've been looking at our wedding registrys online and I can see what people have been buying. I really love suprises and I don't WANT to know what we are getting but... I CAN'T STOP LOOKING!!!!

Hehe.. this part is fun.

At least Who we get What from will be a suprise right!?

They really should have a lock or password to where I can't get into this stuff to see it... because as titled... I have NO SELF CONTROL when it comes to this!

PS. Looks like our bathroom is getting a face lift!! Woohoo!
